I popped in unexpectedly at the Listening Room in Cape Town today and auditioned a Cary Pre with 70 watt SET amp playing through Ecclestone Rosa Signature loudspeakers.
It was the first time I heard Cary products and Eccelstone loudspeakers. The Rosa Signature mid range and tops is to die for. It had an uncanny delicacy with superb imaging and depth.
I find it amazing that the Cary brand maintains such a low profile on the forum. In hindsight, I am now convinced they can give the stock standard products most forum members seem to favor, a serious run for their money.
