Local vs. overseas pricing.

I have misplaced my noise-cancelling head phones (Sennhieser PCX250) while travelling and decided to replace them.  Local Price between R2,400.00 to R2,700.00. 

Ordered via Amazon UK including delivery charge... Just over R1,000.00. With custom and VAT will still be less than 50% of lowest price in SA.  ???  Guess what I am doing in the future?
