My AV system has been running for years and been with out a fault other thany Sub not working but otherwise

I had to move the system out the room for hardwood floor repairs and after reinstalling can not for the life of me get the TV and Projector to work (dual setting) I have tried it all and sure it's something simple but I am soon going to break something perhaps there is a AV installer that might be able to assist me before I get violent with an HDMI cable
