So I recently acquired a non functional Marantz CD 75 (for the paltry sum of R200-00). I assume its the Mk 1 as it says nothing else that makes me think otherwise. The CD player itself is cosmetically decent except for the stick on / clip on cover that is missing from the tray. The unit however does not seem to play any discs....I load a disc, it sits for a few seconds and then gives an error indication. Tried multiple times with different discs and the same error.
So, the question is, is this CD player worth fixing? And if so, where do I start?
