Hi All
I've got a Marantz PM-64 amp. For speakers I've got B&W DM640i speakers connected to the amp. The amp worked perfectly, but then started giving trouble on the left chanel. Sounded HEAVILY distorted like a broke speaker. At first I feared the speaker went. Eventually I could only play it for 10 minutes then it lost all power. Relays just would open. Once left for an hour or so to cool down it would go on again.
It seems like the problem is a part called a Audio Power Amp IC module (STK3102ii). It gets very hot.
Any idea who in Pretoria would be reasonably priced to help fix it.
Regards
