Hi
Have a Marantz SR5007 connected to wharfedales front 10.6(biamped), centre, 10.1 rear and powercube sub.  Not overly blown away by the power i upped the source level to 3db and fronts to 2.5db........playing some club tracks for about 10 minutes at -10db the amp goes into standby (i assume from overheating)

When putting on again and playing (after it cools :))....... I notice even at -15db the amp is so hot i can barely touch the top cover......although it played like that for 20 or so minutes......didnt increase volume to -10db.

Is this "normal" for this amp or should i be getting it checked? Also the fronts and rear speakers sounded comfortable at these volumes.....and i thought at 100w this amp should be pushing far more?

Thanks
