Marantz SR7005 - Checking for dead channel?

I arrived home today sitting down to watch some stuff just to find no sound from my left main speaker.  I checked all the connections which was fine.  Then I took a spare speaker connected it to the cable and still dead.

Is there a way for me to check if the output at the terminals on the amp is dead?
