Hi Guys,
Fairly new to the forum, I bought the McIntosh MC 7270, always wanted a one. The amp has seen some use and abuse but nothing that can't be sorted, thing is built like a tank. The usual issues involved two meter lights that have blow but already replaced. Just needed a really good clean but want to send it to someone for a full health check, any suggestions in Cape Town?
I was abit peeved when I rocked up there with 10k and then told it was 14k :ticked: He actually had a treasure trove of fairly good stuff, so managed to get some additional gear at really good prices which kinda offset the additional 4k. These items included, sondek lp12, classe cp60, audio research cd2 and some PS audio cables. They all work beautifully and am blown away with the sound through my B&W 803s.
