Just a question.
I have owned quite a few big amps. Some had some mechanical hum, and some had less. Especially those with the single toroidal transformers. I am talking about big Krells, Plinius etc. I always thought that was quite normal. Dirty power etc, etc.
Smaller amps (50w - 80w ) much less.
I have sold an amp to a forum member that is not happy with the mechanical hum.
I will refund, but this is just to confirm that in my understanding this humming sometimes happen ( this is not audible from the speakers)
Am I wrong.. please let me hear from all you clever guys out there.
