I have recently built myself an HTPC, running on Windows 7. (Using W7 because I am comfortable with it, all my other PC are running on it, and I simply don't have the time, energy or patience to learn to use a new OS.)
I have now started looking at software to manage my movie directories. I have been playing around with Windows Media Centre (WMC), as well as MediaBrowser Theater (MBT). The immediate problem I am facing is that I already have my own directories set up and really would like these programs to simply reflect that existing folder structure. That appears to be too much to ask. :walled:
WMC simply ignores my folders and lumps everything together.
In MBT I need to select each folder individually, which works fine on a drive with only those folder. If the drive has a subfolder structure that selection method seems to fall flat. Maybe I am just overlooking something.
Have any of you had similar issues with these programs? Can anyone recommend something that would work in the way I want? :help:
