hi Recently bought this little DAC on ebay.
it uses the PCM5102 DAC chip and XMOS USB chipset. the sound quality shocked me. it is really very good
it also have the added feature of a headphone socket.
the PCM1502 is very simular to the PCM1542 that Gert is using in his "mini Vivere" only difference is that it doesnt have the DSP function. but i have noticed that that you can set the roll off externally with a small connection that you can make.
the Xmos USB chip is most probably one of the better USB receivers around.
I will be testing with this unit is some of my setups but so far i am extremely happy with it.
