Nothing much to say other than the title, really! There’s just 50 billion options when I google, and I’ma little lost.. wouldn’t mind opinions from you guys.
I have a Sundara into an SMSL SU-8 and then either through a Schiit Asgard or Millet Hybrid mini max amp. I got the Sundaras mostly because they sounded amazing on vocals and that was in my price range.
Just feel it’s lacking energy and slam for rock, and my previous ATH-M50s were decent for that (please don’t scoff). Is that a closed-back vs open-back thing mostly?
Looking at closed back Sennheiser options, or not (HD600?) but wouldn’t mind opinions from those in the know! I have tried EQ but maybe I need to spend more time with that too. Price range R5k - R7k maybe?
