Building a system from used, can seldom be done in one go. So lets pose the assumption that one has a year to try build up the system.
With the subwoofers being excluded, AFAIK there can only be one speaker brand that can meet this criteria: B&W800 series with maybe some CDM's added as surrounds.
B&W 804 or 803 or 802 for mains
B&W HTM4 or HTM2 or HTM4 for centre
B&W 805 or CDM's or CDM surrounds for sides & rears & Atmos
If there is a brand to second this, it can only be Monitor Audio. They are the only brand where enough units appear on the used market so one can build a system in under a year. The question however is which of their models would be considered high-end? (equivalent to the B&W800 series)(I do not know). Which model Monitor Audio's would be sought for mains & centre & surrounds?
What other brand could be pursued?
