I'm toying with the idea of selling my Musical Fidelity A3 CDP and buying the Yamaha CD-S1000. Reason is i'm getting the Yamaha A-S500 integrated amp soon, so it will be a good match, cosmetically anyway.
Does anybody know if this will be an improvement. The MS is well-rated and always great reviews and I've enjoyed it. Will the Yamaha at least match this? Not that many reviews on the Yamaha 'cos it's quite new. Input is appreciated.
