Quite a few months ago I got a Coax cable from Family_Dog and finally got round to switching my current setup, Geforce GTX 570 > Hdmi > Onkyo AVR > Hdmi > Screen, over to Onboard Audio > Coax > Onkyo AVR.
I Mostly did this as sometimes my screen messes the AVR around. I kept the settings the same but I've found that witht he Coax connection, the stereo separation seems to be better. This could be possibly because the onboard audio is better as a digital out source than my graphics card. As I doubt the difference in digital technology would make the difference.
Any of you had a similar experience?
