The amplifier shown in the avatar was supposed to be my final serious design; a valve twin 100W under the name Hall?.
But personal energy hopefully remaining enough, ideas are germinating for an even bigger mousetrap, for those who may be interested in valve ghetto-blasting. As a bigger one should have at least twice the output to be useful, I am thinking about 250W/channel. One does notice 20 valve anomalies now and then
They might have to be mono-blocks; a combined stereo version would weigh about 50 Kg and be rather a monster. (I will have to start with a bigger kitchen table.) I won't bore with a screw-by-screw presentation, but photo now and then might show progress. We will have to see ....
