So im taking the plunge into diy audio
This build is purely dedicated to teaching me about Xover setups (measuring speaker performance )and honing my cab making skill (using a router , cab finishing and using software like winisd and such) , basically everyting regarding DIY audio ;D ;D ;D
My layout will be 5.1
L&R- 2x 6.5" midwoofers and 1xTweet (TMM or MTM still undecided, forum input required) this will be floorstanders
Centre- 2x 6.5" midwoofers, 1x4" mid and 1x tweet
Surrounds - 1x 6,5" and 1x tweet
I already have the Tweeters
Soft dome Soundlab tweeters
Colour: Black
Dimensions (mm): 35x100x100
Magnet Weight (oz): 0.23
Impedance (Ohms): 8
Sensitivity (dB): 92
Peak Music Power (W): 50
Power RMS (W): 25
Frequency Response (Hz): 1500-20000
and for the midwoofers
6.5 Inch 150 Watt Speaker by Infinity dynamic
Nominal Impedance Ω 8
Power Handling Watts : 100 (Is this the RMS or maximum ???, I need to find out)
Cone Material : Polypropyline
Cone Surround : Rubber
Magnet Weight grams : 568
Only have 1 concern regarding th above combination, will the mids in the front speakers setup (2x mids and 1x tweet) be abit bassy or over power the tweeter?
Any input or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
