What does your domestic conditions allow in terms of freedom of loudspeaker placement? Some speakers sound more balanced close to the wall. Other become boomy when placed too close to walls and corners (although the loudspeaker design can be taylored to suit a specific location). I'd like to know what your options are in your particular listening environment (very few of us can afford dedicated listening rooms, and have to make do with what space is available).
