Hi everyone. You will have seen me buy and sell lots of gear. I've used the proceeds from these sales to fund my own gear, and have really moved on from my 11 year old Yamaha RXV495 and Sansui speakers. Another committment is that we as a family have believed that God will help us raise enough money to sponsor bicycles for pastors in places like Zambia, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. We trust Hiim to help us sponsor 1 bicycle a month, costing R750 each. I'm please to report that since April last year the Lord has helped us sponsor 14 bicycles.
Having been on mission trips, I saw with my own eyes how far the pastors and their wives walk (1-2 hours one way) to get to their places of ministry. They can't afford bicycles, so we've made a committment to raise the money for one bicycle per month for as long as we can.
So yes, I do buy and sell a lot. But it's not to pocket the cash. At least half of it or more goes towards bicycles. Attached see the photos of the bicycles being distributed in Swaziland. This was Dec. 2010 I work with a ministry called Multi-Ministries who reach out to these countries.
So ... mystery solved, and now you-all know where the moola goes ;D
