I connected up an oldish NAD AV316 to my stereo setup as this amp drives about 75w into 2 channels using the bypass function (It is an old pro-logic av amp). The speakers are infinity reference 3's. I was majorly dissappointed as the old Kenwood KA3500 I had on the system gives me a much better base on the speakers. This is only a 45w amp so what gives?? I was expecting better performance on the NAD running in stereo mode. Anyone have any comments on this? I am going to connect the speakers out of phase to see if this will give better results (the manual suggests this).
