My question for the group is has anyone actually built the bridged parallel designed amplifier that National Semiconductor has proposed. I am not talking about some other modification such as removing the servo system, but the circuit as proposed by National. And if you have what were the results, did you like what you heard? I find others like the Shine7 amplifier but it is modified by removing the servo and also I think it is run as a balanced input design. I can't seem to find anyone who is actually using the National design. Any help on this anyone?

A secondary question is has anyone used the LM3886 chip in an active crossover? Why you may ask do I want to know. Well it is just a curiosity as this chip looks similar to the LM4562. Different noise level but the distortion level of the 3886 seems lower. Don't get into an argument about this though, it is the weekend and we should just chill out.
