Friends, I need help urgently.
I have a Blackberry 9720 (its a newer Curve) and have had it since about September last year. In January it would sporadically reboot itself once a day for about a week, but then it stopped after that for some reason.
Yesterday, it started would turn off and I needed to remove the battery to get it to boot up again. It only happened twice yesterday.
However, today it was very bad - every time it isn't 100% charged, it turns off randomly and doesn't boot up, so I need to pull the battery every time. If it isn't on charge, when it is done booting up it just turns off again and continues to do so until it is on charge. If it is 100% charged, and I do something like go on the web browser, it will turn off again. Everytime it turns off and turns on again, it has gone from being 100% charged to about 70% charged, and if I take it off charge then, it goes off.
My brother has the same Blackberry model, so today I swapped batteries with him to see if it was a battery issue - my phone still did the exact same thing as it has been doing today (turning off randomly).
As you can see, this is a big problem and it is quite important that this is fixed. I'll try and go to the Vodacom store this weekend, but if anyone has any advice as to what the problem is, please let me know, and if you know how to fix it I will be indebted to you forever.
P.S. I did update to the newest version of WhatsApp yesterday, so I don't know if that is the problem (I did delete it and uninstall it, but it still does the exact same thing).
