So, we have probably all heard that the SABC is trying to move in on Netflix and others to try and force the consumer to pay some sort of liscence fee to them when using various streaming services. My guess is that there is obviously going to be some sort of resistance, but not on a formal level. We also know that the SA govt is not an entity that is known for asking the population what it wants prior to bringing in new legislation! So the question is, will you just bend (the knee) and pay up or will you cease to use streaming services all together. Very curious to know what you all think. I suspect we may all be living in Cloud-cukoo-land if we think it cannot happen...
