Netflix spatial audio..worth it?

I currently use a 2.1 hi-fi set-up and stream Netflix via a Maverick Android box (HDMI to UHD display, optical out to CA universal player's DAC).

My question is directed to others who also have a 2.1 set-up. Do you find it significantly better than stereo?
