Greetings from France/Germany/Luxembourg!! (It's complicated)
I am originally from Benoni, currently living in France, close to the borders of France, Germany and Luxembourg, where I am employed at Cargolux Airlines as a Technical Instructor on 747 airplanes.
I started my career in aviation at SAA as an aircraft radio technician, then moved into the cockpit as a Flight Engineer. As new generation airplanes phased out the older 747's I found myself back in the technical domain as an instructor. My original trade has now become my hobby, where I have a workshop in my basement and access to a myriad of valve/tube radios, amplifiers, guitar amplifiers, etc.
I look forward to exchanging information and sharing my projects on this forum.
