Just announced and no surprise...Allister Coetzee.

Now although I don't think (based on media reports) that there were that many applicants (perhaps Jake White ;)), I do think Coetzee is the ideal man for the job. He is passionate about rugby, but in a cool & collected way, and he is a respected, humble and well-spoken man. He was the assistant coach to White's 2007 RWC winning team and he had a good run of success with WP and the Stormers. I think he will bring balance to the force ^-^

A surprise announcement was that of Mzwandile Stick as assistant backline coach. He has vast sevens rugby experience, but limited experience in the full format of the game (apparently he coached the EP u/19's to national champions though). That may be a very ambitious but exciting prospect, to get a sevens specialist in as the Bok backline coach. Will we see more running rugby by the men in the green & gold..? It surely looks that way!
