New Years Cape Town Accommodation Suggestions

My wife and I are spending New Years with her family for the first time (it's always my folks that host, but they are away this year). We'd like to rent a nice place to stay for two days or so (us, her Mom, brother and his wife and kids).

We're thinking Camps Bay, Franschhoek or Hermanus - could be a guest house, hotel, anything like that. Any suggestions?
