I have an omniblend blender and after 5 years of making morning smoothies, it gave out a puff of smoke.
On inspection the blades were very hard to turn, so I disassembled everything and cleaned it up. Turns much easier now, but the bearing is still noisy and leaking a bit of grease.
The rest of the blade assembly is in pretty good condition, so I really dont want to spend 600+ on a new one when a replacement bearing should work just fine. Only thing is Im not sure how to remove the bearing (surely it is replaceable?).
Anyone know where I can purchase an NSK 608-V Bearing. Perhaps someone that can remove and fit the new one as well?
Pics to follow.
