Hi all
Does anyone have an idea what the warranty on Onkyo receivers is in SA? My TX-NR696 (around 18 months old) suddenly has no sound from the main zone (zone 2 still works fine) and I can't find anything regarding SA warranty period on the net. Given the time of year I don't want to bother the gent I bought it from (from the forum) yet, and since I struggle with patience figured I'd ask here so long :dop:
If it's just one year, then I'd appreciate any suggestions for reputable repair companies near Pretoria, or if anyone has experienced a similar issue before - the receiver appears to work just fine, passes audio to the TV etc., there's just no sound from the speakers at all. I've updated firmware, reset the receiver, unplugged the speakers and tried plugging in one at a time... nothing.
Any help/input will be greatly appreciated
