I bought a Onyko 818 receiver and have questions around some settings and it's application. have Polk audio speakers RTi A5 kit.
Under source Setup, if I select audyssey and set the dynamic EQ to ON and reference level to 0 DB and dynamic Volume to light then the system sounds so alive and dynamic. If I turn off and increase volume still don't sound so dynamic. so question is what is these settings doing that is making it so dynamic? Also at very low volumes sounds dynamic don't have to cranck it up.
