Hi all.
I have the prospect of buying a second hand Onkyo TX-SR 876 receiver that is in very good condition for quite a good price.

I am not too fussed that it is older technology (HDMI 1.3) etc. It will be used as a secondary play around amp for my house, probably for the patio area (Mostly for music).
I have been reading through many forums to see if there are general issues with that model but there doesn't seem to be too much that regularly goes wrong with them.
I wanted some opinions if it would be a good buy etc.
Want to call the local re-sellers today to see what the availability of spares for it are. I am pretty sure that if there are still spares it would be hugely expensive compared to what i will buy it for.
Would appreciate any input.
