I'm looking at a good quality CD player (with analog and digital output), and a Technics SL-P777 (18 bit DA conversion) caught my eye.
It was their top of the line player at the time, only surpassed by the SL-P999 (20 bit DA conversion).
Question is, are those players still up to the task, or has the DAC technology dated a tad too much?
