I, like most others in this forum, believed for years that troubled times were coming. We have been stockpiling various electronics and hifi components from long before the virus. Garages full of vintage equipment (some yet to be repaired - will get to it eventually). Cupboards and cabinets packed with records, tapes, audio and film reels, laser discs and CD's. Numerous box sets that we set aside to watch when we retire (in my case all the series of Star Trek on DVD - over 139 discs). The speakers. Oh the speakers....
We have faced ridicule, angry stares, threats of divorce and bankruptcy. Even though we have stuff to last a couple of lifetimes, we can finally say: "Our time has arrived."
