So the teenage fruit of our loins had to do some serious Autocad & Inventor renders over the last 2 weeks for his final assignment & has decided his (when we bought it) top of the range laptop just doesn't cut it any longer. Apparently waiting 20+ hours for a 15 second animation render was OTT! 
So now he wants to build a desktop.
Primary purpose is Autocad, Inventor, Solidworks etc, plus a little gaming.
If anyone can give me advice on the attached spec option I'd appreciate it, it's been an awfully long time since I've looked at anything like this!
If anyone is able to help with other retailers that have better pricing that would also be awesome - this is my December holiday beer budget that he's happily spending... :nutter:
