Looking for the cheapest/good value PCI Express soundcard for either my HP server or for my HP Probook 4520s. Not really interested in the 10.1 or whatever channels available today, only require to stereo but wll buy multichannel if that is only option. Would a budget of up to R1000 be sufficient. Any alternatives will also be considered.
For the tech guys : Am I wasting my time considering to use the microserver as digital tranport for my FLAC collection into my main system. Please advise alternatives if not.
