Takes years to build the rover and launch it on a space journey of 7/8 months to get to Mars. Then to get it land safely in the exact crater, on Mars, in one piece, boggles the mind! A million things could have gone wrong. Really see no point in sending humans to Mars when the planet can be explored, in safety, from Earth. Rather develop a better, faster, space propulsion system, before sending humans to Mars.
