Hi All. I am looking to get the GF a present, and have been thinking about getting a piano for a while. She used to play when she was younger, and often talks about her longing to play again.
I know very little about pianos in terms of what to look for; the only thing I can see for certain is that a) it needs to be a real piano, not a keyboard / digital; and b) needs to be upright, simply because the baby grand / grand pianos - as magnificent as they are - are simply too expensive.
So, any pointers in terms of where to look and what to look for, for a preowned piano (or anyone in the biz who can assist)? Budget is from around R6k to R10k tops.
