I was listening to the Kalahari Surfers' hilarious track "Play it Backwards" last night and was wondering: did anyone ever try to play an lp backwards?

I suppose you could twist the belt to get the platter to turn backwards, but surely that would be rough on the needle and groove?

Anyone try this? And did it lead to anti-social behaviour? :D
