Hi guys. I had lying around a 23" PC monitor (no speakers) with HDMI input and 2nd gen AppleTV. Also have a Bose sounddock that doesn't see any use... Presto, entertainment for the kitchen.
Thing is: 2nd gen AppleTV only has optical or HDMI out for sound.
What is a LOW cost option for a dac that will take Toslink and make it into analogue to feed my Sounddock?
I see items that cost a thousand rand, but want to spend much less than that...
