Hi, I'm looking to replace the original plinth on a Thorens TD150 with a solid wooden one. Need something decent but nothing extravagant. Don't want to spend too much, as I had a new cartridge and belt fitted last year and bought an L70 recently. Any recommendations? Besides the aesthetics and more rigid structure, will this yield nnoticeable improvements to the sound quality or not?
