I have a standard two plug (like the below) in my lounge and always used one for the power amp - and the other with extension to everything else. I've always felt the power got 'better' power by not using an extension ... does it really make any difference?
Also, does a split kettle plug (like the below) do anything negative for the sound? At one stage I had 4 monoblocks and used a single plug with 4 of these ends. I now only have a single power amp - but still curious.
