Pro-Ject Essential 1

Opinions on the Pro-Ject Essential 1 Turntable. I currently have an old Rega Planar 2. Thinking of the project for my second turntable, how do they compare. I am not wanting to replace the Rega with the Pro-Ject but rather have it as like a backup or for another room
