I am thinking of replacing my MBL126 stand mounted speakers for a pair of floor standing Proac Resonse D48R speakers and I would be grateful for any advice or opinions that any forum members have about Proac speakers.
Background:
My dedicated audio room is reasonably large at 8m x 5.5m and adjoins another large lounge / dining room. My taste in music is centred around jazz and classsical with a reasonably large collection of world music (e.g. Ry Cooder, Anouar Brahem and others).
The MBLs have electrostatic clarity, tonal accuracy and speed but don't quite have the bass fullness or "orchestral size" sound stage that I am expecting (from the Proacs).
Any views would be gratefully received
