So my trusty old Bravia went kapoet over the weekend, probably fixable as I think it may be a bad cap from what I could gather from the error codes. Anyway, so now I was thinking that maybe I should make the move to a projector. Issue is, my budget would be between 5k-10k, pushing, 12k if it really has too and I know that I've seen numbers of 30k plus for projectors running around here on the forum and that is completely far above what I can afford.
My question, what projector in these price ranges will be recommended and also, these smaller nano projectors, are they any good for media? My wife's company has one of these small qumi ones, she might be able to bring it home for us to test for a evening.
I'm not after the biggest screen possible. 65" to 80" will be more than sufficient...
