Hi All. Hope you all had a great Christmas.

1) Seeing there are some good deals on Hisense C1, I am thinking of buying one.
Since it does not seem to have lens shift/optical zoom, do you guys think I'll be fine producing 100 inch (the max screen size that can fit in the room) image thrown from around 4.5m distance?
The spec says around 3m to create 110 inch. So, I was hoping I'd be fine. I am not a projector expert, but I think the throw distance can be more and not less than the spec.
I stand to be corrected.

2) My second question is around mounting the projector. The room has only one side wall (and the front wall, behind the TV, does not matter in this case) that's concrete, the back wall and the ceiling, and the other side wall are drywall.
Therefore, I won't be able to (well... easily) install a vertical projector mount from the ceiling.
I was thinking (to avoid making hole into the drywall ceiling etc.) of mounting the projector on the side concrete wall using a bracket (would be of length around 150cm) that looks like the following:

Do you guys think it can be done? 150cm is quite a length, will the bracket be able to hold the weight (without weakening specially the section where the pipe meets the wall bracket)?
Anyone done something similar?

Or any other ideas will be appreciated.

Thank you
