PS2 Steering wheel help needed.

I've got this PS2 and got a new steering wheel for it today at Incredible. Incredibly, I cannot get the steering wheel to work and I don't see anything on it on the net. I suppose PS2 is just too old....
Anyway, I know there's a bunch of old gamers on the forum and am hoping someone know how to fix this....
Its a MX-V9 steering wheel. I'm trying to get it to work on GT 4 and WRC Evolved.
