I am checking if the forumites can assist me with sonic information on the QUADS Z-2 bookshelf speakers as well as the audition. I have recently acquired the latest edition of Valve Audio Predator from Oom Schalk and find it a bit difficult to listen to music for long hours on the KEF's R300. I perhaps find them bright while on the other hand the Predator is so revealing IMO.
Z-2's with ribbon twitters seem to be on the warmer side of the audio signature according to few reviews I've so far perused. I'll be more than delighted to have info on the Z-2, including an opportunity to audition them.
