I have this wonderful early 80's Marantz amplifier. (PM 750 DC) It has been making wonderful tunes for the best part of 40 years. I absolutely love the warm fluid tubey sound it plays. The synergy in my setup is foot tapping good.
However, the FOMO itch has reared it's ugly head a couple of times now. Do I do a recap? I don't want to lose the beautiful sound I have now... but, it may sound absolutely amazing after a good recap...
Does anyone know if proper parts are still available when recapping? I would prefer to do it that way. I know there would be some people who would suggest to "upgrade" to better caps.
