Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum and find myself browsing through almost every day. I think the classifieds section is THE fastest I have come across.
Anyway, would appreciate some input regarding a receiver upgrade or whether or should upgrade at all.
Currently have a Pioneer VSX 819 H-K with 110 w at 8 ohm. It's a 5.1 channel with more than enough features for my usage. I recently chaned my front and surrounds from AR to Jamo concert series, C603 front and C601 surround. They do sound great but I find them to be much brighter than the ARs. I changed to Jamos as I wanted to wallmount my speakers to free up some living room space.
The question is, would I gain any sound quality improvement by changing my receiver? My listening split is 50/50 between music and HT.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks
Neven
