Anyone occasionally using a rechargeable soldering iron? How do you rate them? Any recommendations for worthwhile brands?

I bought a Burgess iron a very long time ago and soon found replacement tips for it was very difficult to source.

Eventually, I found some replacement tips for it from RS and used the iron off and on for awhile until I bought my first Magnum soldering station with digital temperature indication.

I'm currently working on a job where very neat soldering is required and had lots of frustrations with insulation shrinkback.

So I dug out the old Burgess and found its sub-C batteries had made a mess inside and would no longer take a charge.

A few hours of replacing the mess inside with new wiring, a cleanup of its little pcb and two new 2000mA sub-C batteries with solder tags and I'm set for some really tidy soldering. The Burgess even has a built-in light for difficult near inaccessible places.
